IPIC Theaters is pleased to continue welcoming guests under new ownership. As part of a formal legal transition, select assets of the IPIC brand and the specific locations listed below are now owned and operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas).

At locations operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas), the IPIC brand will continue to be the consumer-facing brand. Guests can continue to enjoy the elevated dine-in cinema experience, use eligible IPIC benefits, and visit IPIC as usual.

Some former IPIC locations, including locations in California and New York, are no longer affiliated with the IPIC brand, the IPIC Access membership program, or IPIC gift cards. These locations are independently owned and operated by unrelated third parties and are not associated with CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas) or the IPIC brand.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to serving you. Subject to the applicable program terms and successful verification or authentication in our database, active and eligible IPIC Access memberships, points, and gift card balances transferred as part of the transaction will be honored exclusively at CMX Cinemas-operated IPIC locations. For guests holding IPIC gift cards or membership profiles from legacy locations whose records were not part of our local database migration, a one-time corporate verification or profile re-registration process will be required before redemption.

DID IPIC GET ACQUIRED?

Yes. Select assets of the IPIC brand and certain locations have been acquired by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas) under a formal legal structure.

CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas) will continue operating the IPIC brand at the select locations listed below. The IPIC brand will remain the consumer-facing brand at those locations.

IS IPIC STILL OPEN?

Yes. IPIC remains open at locations operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas). Guests can continue to book tickets, enjoy premium dining options, and experience IPIC just as they always have at CMX Cinemas-operated IPIC locations.

WHICH LOCATIONS ARE NOT OPERATED BY CMX CINEMAS?

Locations formerly known as IPIC in California and New York are not operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas). These locations are independently owned and operated by unrelated third parties and are not affiliated with CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas), the IPIC Access membership program, IPIC gift cards, IPIC points, or IPIC guest benefits.

WILL THE IPIC BRAND CONTINUE?

Yes. The IPIC brand will continue as the consumer-facing brand at locations operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas).

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY IPIC ACCESS MEMBERSHIP?

Your IPIC Access membership remains active for use exclusively at the CMX Cinemas-operated IPIC locations listed above, provided your account data is active, eligible, and successfully verified or authenticated within our local network database. Our point-of-sale systems will recognize eligible profiles automatically when those records are available in the database.

WHERE CAN I USE MY IPIC ACCESS MEMBERSHIP, POINTS, GIFT CARDS, AND BENEFITS?

Valid and eligible IPIC Access memberships, points, gift cards, and benefits that are successfully verified or authenticated within our database may be used at IPIC locations operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas). They will not be accepted at non-CMX Cinemas-operated locations, because those locations are not affiliated with the IPIC brand or connected to our customer database.

CAN I USE MY MEMBERSHIP AT LOCATIONS IN CALIFORNIA OR NEW YORK?

No. IPIC Access memberships, points, and rewards are not recognized, valid, or accepted at non-CMX Cinemas-operated locations in California or New York, because those locations are not connected to our customer database and are not affiliated with the IPIC Access membership program.

I USED TO VISIT A CALIFORNIA OR NEW YORK LOCATION. CAN I USE MY MEMBERSHIP AT A CMX CINEMAS-OPERATED LOCATION?

Yes. As former IPIC locations under third-party ownership transition away from the IPIC brand, active members from those areas are welcome to continue their loyalty journey at CMX Cinemas-operated IPIC locations. However, because databases were separated during the transaction, your loyalty profile and accrued points may not automatically appear in our regional systems.

To ensure your rewards history is recognized, guests from non-affiliated locations must complete a brief one-time account re-verification process with our corporate Guest Services team. Points and loyalty tiers cannot be added or adjusted manually at the theater box office without this prior verification.

ARE GIFT CARDS STILL REDEEMABLE?

Yes. Existing valid IPIC gift cards that are successfully verified or authenticated within our database remain redeemable at IPIC locations operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas). Due to the separation of corporate databases from locations no longer affiliated with our network, some gift cards may require verification before use.

If your gift card is not automatically recognized by our local point-of-sale system, our theater staff will direct you to our corporate Guest Services channel to manually validate and activate your eligible balance before redemption. Theater box offices cannot manually override gift card balances, points, or loyalty tiers without prior corporate verification.

WILL IPIC CONTINUE TO SHOW CURRENT MOVIES?

Yes. Guests can continue to count on IPIC locations operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas) for current movie releases and premium entertainment.

IS YOUR REFUND POLICY STILL IN PLACE?

Yes. Our refund policy remains in place for IPIC locations operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas). Upcoming reservations can be managed online up to one hour prior to the listed showtime.

DOES THIS IMPACT MEMBERS AND GUESTS?

For guests visiting IPIC locations operated by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas), the IPIC experience continues seamlessly.

Guests and members whose accounts are successfully verified or authenticated within our local network database are welcome to visit any CMX Cinemas-operated IPIC location, where their active memberships, points, and eligible balances will be honored subject to applicable program terms.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR IPIC?

This means select assets of the IPIC brand are continuing under new ownership by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas).

The IPIC brand will remain consumer-facing at CMX Cinemas-operated IPIC locations. Guests can continue to enjoy the elevated IPIC cinema experience, and eligible IPIC memberships, gift cards, points, and benefits successfully verified or authenticated in our local database will be honored at those locations.

Locations in California and New York are not part of this asset purchase and operate under a completely separate business structure that is not associated with CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas) or the IPIC brand.

Locations formerly known as IPIC in California and New York are independently owned and operated by unrelated third parties and have no corporate affiliation, joint venture, or partnership with CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas). Gift cards, loyalty rewards, memberships, or guest benefits associated with non-CMX Cinemas locations or not successfully verified or authenticated within our transition database are not valid and will not be accepted at CMX Cinemas-operated IPIC locations. All terms, loyalty rewards, and gift card conditions are subject to change, modification, or termination by CB Theater Experience, LLC (CMX Cinemas) at any time, with or without prior notice, in accordance with applicable state laws.
